ICOS Science Conference is expected to gather hundreds of environmental and climate scientists together for three full days in September 2020. We already have 190 registered participants.
ICOS (Integrated Carbon Observation System) is a European research network providing scientific observation-based information about greenhouse gases, which is required tounderstand the Earth’s biogeochemical processes and prevent climate change. ICOS has a high visibility in both scientific and social media.
ICOS also cooperates with global organisations such as WMO, GEO, and Global Carbon Project to further develop global research programs and provide valuable knowledge as well as technical support for the climate change mitigation efforts following the Paris Agreement.

Conference themes
The various topics of this conference include Vulnerability of the Carbon Cycle; Urban Observation and detection of human emissions; Fluxes at the land-ocean-atmosphere continuum; Innovation and uncertainty in observation; analysis and budgeting techniques; RMV (research, monitoring and verification) of carbon exchange between atmosphere and reservoirs with long-term storage potential; Budgets, trends and controls of GHG and other atmospheric constituents; as well as Remote sensing and Education.
Time and venue
Time: September 15th–17th, 2020.
Venue: Virtual platform where the registered participants may enter with their individual links. We are set on making the conference experience as substantial as a physical event for all participants – including the vendor expo.
Sponsor option
1 500 €. Your logo on the conference web page and a ½ page ad in the digital Book of Abstracts.
Vendor exhibition option
Vendor booth: 1 950 €. Your logo in your “booth” on the virtual conference platform, together with video(s), image(s) and hypertext content. Live text/video chat option and tracking of visitors. The booth can be open during the entire conference, including breaks. Participation to the virtual conference is included.
Vendor exhibitions is built in the same platform with its own dedicated space. The platform allows for the creation of a virtual “booth” for every vendor, consisting of a separate, vendor-branded page that can contain video, image, and text content. The platform allows for live text/video chat with visitors, as well as collating data about e.g. visitor amounts. Time has been reserved in the conference programme for visiting vendor exhibitions.
