For the first time in history, the ICOS Science Conference was organised as a fully hybrid event, gathering over 420 scientists from all across the world on-site in Utrecht, the Netherlands, and online 13-15 September 2022.
The themes of the conference varied from purely scientific sessions to ones related to policy making, education and new developments in instrument manufacturing. The overarching theme of the conference was 'Tracking progress to carbon neutrality'.
The conference attendees were delighted to reconnect with their fellow scientists, discussing topics related to greenhouse gas measurement and climate change. The next Science Conference will be arranged in 2024 in a new location.
The recordings of the presentations are available for the attendees until the end of September 2022 through the online platform. We are also looking forward to receiving your feedback regarding the conference arrangements, an email has been sent out with instructions for how to access the feedback form.
