ICOS Science Conference 2026 programme published

30 Jun 2026

The draft programme and full list of accepted abstracts for the ICOS Science Conference 2026 have now been published online.

Over 530 oral and poster presentations have been accepted and divided across the three conference days. The full programme is available here and the full list of abstracts can be read here. Please note that the programme is subject to change.

The programme of ICOS Science Conference 2026 highlights a wide range of topical themes in greenhouse gas science. New this year, the programme features two special sessions: a Science for Policy panel discussion (session 12), showcasing ways in which scientific knowledge can successfully feed into policy processes, and an evening of Science and Art at Skissernas Museum, exploring the connections between scientific research and artistic expression around climate and the environment.

The conference is fully hybrid and takes place 15-17 September 2026 at AF-Borgen, Lund, Sweden, and online. Presentations are streamed through an online platform, through which both on-site and online participants can ask questions and otherwise interact with the presenters and each other.

Registration is open - to access the registration policy, participation fees, and registration form, please visit the ICOS Science Conference registration page.

More information about the event venue, social programme, excursions, and accommodation can be found on the conference website.

We look forward to welcoming you in September!
