ICOS Denmark

The ICOS Denmark network consists of 10 stations, of which nine are Ecosystem stations and one is an Atmosphere station. Four of the stations are in typical ecosystems in Greenland, and one is an Atmosphere station in Greenland at a location that frequently encounters air masses from Europe and Siberia. The stations on the Danish mainland cover typical ecosystems such as farmland, forests (including short rotation coppice) and wetland. The Greenlandic stations make an important arctic contribution to ICOS.

ICOS Denmark is a network of four universities: Technical University of Denmark (coordination), University of Aarhus, University of Copenhagen, Danish Agency of Science, Technology and Innovation, and Ministry of Higher Education and Science Denmark.
