METEK GmbH

Metek, Meteorologische Messtechnik GmbH, is a German provider of a wide range of meteorological sensors and systems. Its product portfolio includes in-situ meteorological sensors and ground-based remote sensing profilers enabling acoustic, radar, and laser technologies. Our latest development is a long-range wind lidar for horizontal measurements over distances > 25 km.

Since the early 1990s, ultrasonic anemometers have been supplied to the steadily growing global community of users of the eddy covariance method and are now in use in all climate zones, from the Arctic to Antarctica. The continuous advancement of available technologies ultimately led to the patented “Multi-Path” (MP) technology, which will be demonstrated as 3D-Sonics models “uSonic-3 Cage MP” and “uSonic-3 Class A MP” in the vendor exhibition. The unique MP dataset, consisting of raw and processed data, provides nine radial wind components and temperature values, three of which are measured vertically. This minimizes shadow effects and flow distortion and significantly improves accuracy, particularly at non-horizontal in-flow angles. Internal online plausibility checks identify disturbances caused by any type of precipitation (raindrops, hailstones, snowflakes), eliminates such outliers, and ensures data integrity. The intelligent heating function minimizes energy consumption to ensure ice-free operation even under adverse weather conditions.

Aerodyne

Aerodyne Research provides advanced instrumentation, software, and research and development services for atmospheric, environmental, and geochemical measurement. For over five decades, Aerodyne has worked with academic, government, and industrial scientists to develop measurement capabilities for challenging problems in air quality, atmospheric chemistry, emissions, and climate research.

Aerodyne instruments provide real-time, high-precision measurements of trace gases and aerosol particles and are used by research groups around the world for laboratory studies, field campaigns, and long-term observations. Our instruments are developed, assembled, tested, and supported by scientists and engineers who hold them to demanding standards for performance, consistency, and reliability. Each system is evaluated carefully before delivery so that its behavior is well understood and its performance is reproducible from instrument to instrument.

Our scientific involvement continues after delivery. Aerodyne scientists work directly with customers on instrument operation, field deployment, measurement strategy, and data interpretation, helping research groups obtain the highest-quality measurements from their systems. As research scientists ourselves, we understand the demands of long-term, high-quality measurements. We often work closely with our customers as scientific partners, supporting their measurements and helping to extend what can be observed and quantified.

NC TECHNOLOGIES

NC Technologies is the Italian manufacturer of laboratory analytical instrumentation with the longest experience on the market. An experience that we inherited from Costech International, a global leader since 1990 in CHNS/O elemental analysis and related autosamplers. Costech International has developed skills and innovation, thanks to which it has achieved a technical background that has set a precedent both as a direct supplier to users and as a supplier to various companies through OEM agreements. Today NC Technologies has resumed developing new products alongside those inherited from Costech. We are able to provide a wide range of CHNS/O analyzers for the determination of the concentration of Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Sulfur and Oxygen in solid, liquid, gaseous and organic matrices. In our product portfolio, we can also offer specific detectors for the analysis of stable isotopes of the above elements and for the determination of 14C, a radioactive isotope of Carbon, and a complete line of autosamplers for elemental analyzers.
