New FastTrack data release available
ICOS Atmosphere Thematic Centre (ATC) has just released its FastTrack-2026.2 release for CO2, CH4, N2O and CO. This FastTrack data release includes all data species, meteorological data and flask data from 40 Atmosphere stations.
This data release covers the period 1 April 2025 to 20 January 2026, starting from the end of the period covered by the latest Level 2 release.
Fully quality controlled by station Principal Investigators (PIs), the collection contains hourly averaged data for the mole fractions of CO2, CH4, N2O, CO, as well as meteorological observations measured at relevant vertical heights.
It also contains flask samples analysed for:
- CO2
- CH4
- N2O
- CO
- H2
- SF6
- delta13C_CO2
- deltaO18_CO2
- O2/N2
- 14C
FastTrack data releases are used in a variety of applications, including by scientists running climate models where observational data is ingested for running the models.
ICOS ATC publishes three FastTrack data releases per year, as well as one final fully quality controlled Level 2 release each year
